The automaker, Kia, has been pretty busy lately, with several plans in place for the near, and not-so-near, future. Here is a peek into what we can expect to see from the innovative brand:
New headlights and taillights, new front and rear fascia, and a new grille are just some of the highlights on the all-new Kia Optima. In 2015, the 2016 model year version will hit showrooms completely re-engineered with new interior and sheet metal.
The second-generation Kia Soul will arrive this fall wider and longer than the outgoing model, while maintaining its unique look and style. Soft-touch materials for the center console, door panels, and dash highlight the cabin. Under the hood, the auto features a 1.6 liter four cylinder engine with a 2.0 liter direct-injection engine an available option. Rumors are even swirling that an electric Kia Soul EV is in the works for late 2014 or early 2015, but details are still scarce.
Other possible future models include the Kia GT Concept, a model debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt show, and the Kia Quoris , available overseas that hopefully will be making its way to the United States. The Quoris, known as K9 in South Korea, is an upscale rear-wheel drive model.
